Construction: Fujairah

Construction sites are worthy of documenting just as much as their eventual products. We overlook the interesting and unique textures and geometry that can be found in unfinished structures.

I've always loved cranes, and I love the deep yellows they're usually painted in. I found a construction site that had some yellow scaffolding, and I thought it would make for a cohesive collection to photograph the cranes, scaffolding, and skid steel loader, all with their intense yellows. The greys of the sites also bring their textures to greater attention, and accentuate other colored objects.
